A New Look for Nutec Manufacturing

News Release July 2017

New Lenox, IL – 35 years ago, Nutec Manufacturing was founded. Over the past 4 decades, as a leading manufacturer and distributor of high quality food forming and depositing systems, Nutec Manufacturing has built a brand and a reputation unmatched in the industry.

Like all successful companies, adapting to changing times is paramount. Nutec’s management team is embracing that principle by re-designing the company’s logo and re-branding the company’s image to better reflect who they are in 2017 and beyond. “We took on this challenge to truly clarify who Nutec is today,” says Tom Tonra, Director of Sales & Marketing. “Our company has changed over the past 35 years. It is time to adapt our logo and brand to better reflect who Nutec is and what we offer to food processors.”

To that end, the Nutec Team looked at what best differentiates their equipment and their company in the marketplace. “Simply put, it’s our rotor design that defines us. Our vane-style rotor is like no other. It gently feeds product through an orifice that matches the required forming width. This helps reduce further introduction of mechanical energy, reduces shear edges that can damage particle integrity and produces a constant yet fully adjustable volume. The end result is accurate portion weight, consistent shapes, high volume repeatability and excellent particle definition,” explains Tonra.

So the new logo – the new look for Nutec is actually the outline of their unique rotor. It’s an identifiable, iconic design that helps to better define who Nutec is in the 21st century.

What does the new logo mean, and why is it important to my business?

Our updated logo is much more than a different picture. It is really a better reflection of who Nutec is, and what separates our forming and depositing systems from the rest of the industry.

The main image is a side view of the product feed rotor. The gentle feeding action of the rotor reduces the introduction of mechanical energy to your product, helping to maintain product integrity and particle definition.

The width of the product feed rotor matches the width of the forming plate, further reduction product degradation.

But, what does that mean to your business?

In addition to helping preserve product integrity and particle definition, the gentle forming process produces a superior "bite" or mouthfeel on all product types. The ability to accurately control rotor rotation helps provide more accurate formed portion weight, and reduces product loss, or leakage.

Nutec and Provatec continue to manufacture and support industry leading forming and depositing systems. We are working hard every day to meet and exceed the needs of the industry. We will continue to innovate and drive change to help you deliver on your commitments to your customers.

So, the logo is more than just a pretty picture, but we think it looks pretty cool too!
